You need to paint the battery and fluid covers to match with the rest of the engine bay like ASAP! I'm doing a little DIY and spraying mine tonight

I'd paint the covers red and the surrounding plastic pieces blue! Keep the transformer theme!

 

+1 painting the covers and the rad support might be too much and start to look cheezy. Looks great as is IMO.

 

i think color matching the motor to the fender wells/firewalls woulda been a nice touch

i doubt he drives with his hood, open so its not that important
