My Build: The Good, The Bad & The Progress

Nothing else yet. Dave has the world's oldest cpu connected to the dyno, think it still saves to floppy disc. Maybe he can post something up later or I will request one from the next session that has that. I believe he was wanting people to see that this number was made in shootout mode so people would know it wasn't manipulated.

Great numbers Cass, Glad that it has finally completed. I'm sure all the struggles will be soon forgotten if they havent already

Gord - The ViPEC reads the Meth with no issue. It runs one map with no meth, I pop open the cubby and press the button to turn the system on (Aquamist HSF-5), and it immediately switches maps and makes all the proper adjustments.
You can see how smooth it brings on the power by the graph - I haven't seen curves that nice since my honeymoon!!!
Very Fast & Furious style .

I talked to Cam about the traction control he said it will work for sure. He has done it on multiple cars already including several Nissans GT-R 32s mostly. He said on the Vi-PEC forum the guys are talking about a fancier form of traction control that is very advanced. But he said using our front wheel speed sensors and rpm it will retard timing it can be done but it is very time consuming to get it honed right in to the point its smooth and dosn't feel intrusive like the factory traction control I doubt I will have it this year. i won't get my turbos till mid julyish and we have snow by October. So I will be happy to just get it running, drive it and worry about getting fancy next year. Glad to see your on the road and everything seems to be working VERY well for you

The new setup will be as follows:
BC Pistions .20 over
BC Rods
BC Cams
Ferrera Dual springs and retainers
Rev-up Oil Pump - New (again)
Rev-Up Head Gaskets - New (again)
ACL Race Bearings - New (again)
Mild blending of the heads at Headgames
These components were chosen based on what Frank and Dave gave as input for what they knew best and trusted to make the power goal I had set - 600+whp on the DD Dyno at F:T.

Don't hate me for the free meth...premium gas is over $4.00/Gal here.
