Default APS tt issue power loss

3 weeks ago notice minor issue when i try to start car. It wouldn't start just a silent crank. Today driving from the gun range at a stop light car just cut off on me at a dead stop. I let the car sit for 15 minute tryed again car started I hurry and got the F**K home. While driving home car cut off as in power loss. Anyone have an idea whats going on I got a headache from the whole thing.

Check the crank angle sensor. It will probably need to be replaced. Do this first before anything else. At worst the part is $60 at the dealer.

I think its a heat issue went on a 30 mile test drive no boost car didnt stall out. Car is now with the mechanic. He mention seem like when he go into boost car temperature inside car get really hot. While in boost car stall. The power loss could be some sort of heat/turbo issue. Also want to input I have stock exhaust/cats he said might be a problem also because of back pressure.

the stock exhaust and cats will flow just fine for a bolt on kit running low boost id look other places for sure. . that isn't gonna cause a loss in power, +1 to check crank angle sensor
