You are correct on both. I haven't had any issues yet with bypass valve. It's a pretty basic setup, the only thing I could see going wrong would be the vacuum/boost line coming from the intake manifold getting pinched if it is routed incorrectly or rubbing against the SC head pulley and burning a hole in it.

Unfortunately I don't know enough about proper AF ratios for a forced induction system to speak intelligently about it. I do know that my intake temps peak at around 102 degrees F. Chris Joule is an awesome tuner and currently has the fastest Skyline in the states right now, so I trusted his advice that 13:1 would be a safe AF setting. I wasn't looking for the best power though, just to let you know. I was looking for a safe ratio with decent gas mileage.

If there's a reason I should go 11.5:1 please let me know. I'm getting my Wideband O2 setup in about a week so I can tune it myself after that. BTW the VQ35 engine already has a KR sensor so if it did dectect a know it would retard the timing automatically.

BTW, It's not 13:1 across the board. It's 10:1 as you get on it and slides to 13:1 as boost goes up. I guess I should have specified that.
