I spoke to Jeremy about 10 days ago and he was working at the shop. I was asking him to come over to the PRI show, but he was too busy finishing up the cars to leave the shop.

no he has never ripped anyone off.. and we don't hate JT.. we just like to have fun with him because he was in over his head from day one and he refused to notice it.. instead he had an ego about it.. he would always talk down to everybody else about how great PF was and what PF could do.. and he had his customers signing the same tune.. talking junk about other shops when they had no proof or evidence.. no all those mouth pieces are gone.. he also tried to hide all the blown motors and bad tunes a couple cars had.. and in the end the truth came out anyway.. the few people who never talked **** are still here.. coach.. quadcam.. Jason

the impression i get of PF if is they build you great cars.. but are too busy to help you maintain them.. looks like all the old school PF guys are on their own.. trying to figure out their own follow up problems

I would say that some of this is true, but not all....I think all the shops on this site have big egos, its just the nature of the business. For the guys that haven't personally met JT,he is hardcore about going fast and building fast cars. Here's an example: we all left the shop one afternoon to go get something to eat and we were all in our own cars.We pulled out of the parking lot onto a main road and he was sideways in a matter of seconds(with full control). We had to make a u-turn to go the other way and guess what he was sideways once again. Its in his blood to haul *** every chance he gets.He definitely was a pioneer when it came to trying new things on our cars and with that comes the boom factor. We all knew that when we took our cars there. JT was not about doing the cookie cutter TT,SC,Built motors, etc that some shops do, although he did plenty of them for customers that weren't into racing and taking chances. JT's downfall in my opinion was due to, not being able to have good techs that wanted to work as hard as he did. All in all, JT has an incredible work ethic and built some bad *** cars. His knowledge and tuning skills are right up there with the other top guys.
JT admitted to not being much of a business man and in this business you have to wear 2 hats to be successful. JT wears his heart on his sleeve and gave away way too much stuff for free or his cost and by the time he realized it, it was too late. He did this because he was all about the cars and forgot about the business side of having a shop.
I could ramble on and on, but in the end JT was always good to me and many others and I for one appreciated it.I'm no nut hugger so don't even go there, I just wanted to give people some info on what JT is like, in my opinion.

I will agree with you on passion and drive to excel.. he rose from tuning his own UTEC to opening a performance shop.. and that was friggen exceptional.. i will admit that.. it even made me wonder how he rose so fast with such great expense in so little time.. but anyway..

JT wasn't as great a tuner/installer as you THINK he was.. he gave his customers that impression.. most of the time he was calling Sam, Julian, Intense and Sharif to ask them question on how he should do things.. he might have learned in the future.. but often times JT would come on here talking with his big ego like he pioneered something.. when in truth he called the other big 4 guys asking them questions for hours.. come on JT you didn't think all this was a secret did you? people talk..

then later after he learned.. he would come back on here and Slam them for not having faster cars or putting out faster cars.. SUP wit DAT homey!!!

+1

I think I was one of JTs 1st customers (droped off my car there for the 1st time Jan. 07 for a built motor and a big shot) and JT has been great, some of the best customer service.
I also think my car will be the last one to come out of PF (still there).

I have to throw my 0.02 here, he didn't give stuff away out of being a nice guy, he was constantly trying to undercut other shops to get the business, I know of a few down here that went up to him because he undercut Japtrix by ridiculous amounts on installs, so much that Japtrix had to tell the customer to go and stick to their guns on their prices, now you see who is still around.
