I bought a lot of parts from Jeremy, and last year I met him at the PRI show in Orlando. He seemed like a pretty cool guy in person and was very helpful and always responded to and answered all my questions.
I'm sorry to hear that he's struggling threw some learning curves in business. I've been self employed for over twenty years and it's tough. I say give the man prop's for having the ***** to step up to the plate and make a go of it.
He may be down at the moment but it's in our failures that we learn the most and I'm betting that he will learn from them and emerge stronger and better in the future. Best of luck JT, hang tough bro.

While everyone in this thread up until this post has either been a customer or bench warmer (some with "insider" info), my/Intense's relationship with Jeremy is that of a dealer to him. My first interaction with him came not in terms of a business transaction, but rather in form of a back-and-forth on a build thread of ours. If my memory serves me correctly, it was a thread that we created showing the potential of the PowerLab ST kit on our VeilSide Fortune G35 (but I could be mistaken). His posts were an attempt to discredit our results, as up until then nobody had made the kind of numbers were were putting down on stock sleeves. The back-and-forth was short lived, and, unlike another shop's spokesperson from the N.E., he quickly apologized and we've been on good terms since! Shortly thereafter he was buying PowerLab turbo kits from us like crazy.
Regarding what has been written about Jeremy's business interactions with Intense, my overall position on the matter is that, when/if Jeremy chooses to stay in the industry, I will/would do business with him again. Being a business owner in this industry is no walk in the park -- especially when starting in the red, having zero silent partners and/or family money bank rolling you. Add to the mixture a failing economy coupled with this industry being a "luxury" industry, and you have a very dangerous cocktail. Yes, there will always be those who gain from an economic atmosphere like the one we are in and good for them! But this isn't typical of this industry, nor is it, IMO, something that needs to be bragged about, or even stated, considering how many millions are hurting right now.
My hope is that JT finds himself a new home in this industry. I have a strong suspicion that he will

No shiit Doug.... I did the hooked on phonics tapes. Thats obviously not the whole story. He hasn't been here for 2 months. What's the story with the car? Was that covered under warranty? Car gone?

We are doing well(in comparison to other local and internet businesses) but we have been around for 10+ years.We know what we are doing and we treat our customers fairly.There are a few other shops who we deal with who are doing good as well.Then there are like 30 local and internet shops who closed their doors in the last four months
Like Darren said,it is not easy running a shop and I work 60+ hours a week, 10 years + now. As much as people might think that most of the shops are going to go under, dont worry......... The good ones will remain around.The bad ones will go.It will be better for the customers but it could also lead to longer delays getting parts and having cars built

I think JT got in over his head. Under different cicumstances, this might have not happened. I dont think it is about economy but more of business architecture. But he seems pretty damn smart and has some skills...... so I am sure he will bounce back in one way or another
i hardly ever say anything i usually just listen until there is something important enough for me to say..............JT is a freakin CON-ARTIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! let me give you some history........march of this year me and the wife planned a trip to disney world. Around the same time i just got most of the bugs worked out of my car and i needed it tuned..............so i figured it was a good idea to take it performance factory and let JT tune it because he was in the same town and alot of people said he was excellent with Utec.......so anywho i made the calls to JT and he said he could take care of it no problem........well after a 13hr drive i get there and i drop off the car......next day i get a call from JT and he says that he can't get the fuel psi below 60 and that it needs to be able to drop into the 40's for him to tune it or it will run to rich for idle.....but he said that he would take alook and see if anything was wrong............well after a couple of days he calls back and says that he took the fuel pump apart 3 or 4 time couldn't find anything wrong and that my fuel return system was all jacked up and who ever install it and did the previous work on my car didn't know anything about turbo'd cars.......he said the only solution that he could present to me was take the car back home, get the fuel system fixed and then come back down to florida to let him tune it.......well, then after another day i come to pick up the car JT is not there but AJ is. AJ gives me the keys and then call JT to see how much i owed.......JT said i owed him $250.00 and that we could settle up over the phone.........i told AJ to tell JT that the most i would pay is $100.00 and he could call me if he has a problem with it............He was only going to charge me $500 to tune it...............he never called me and i never paid........but here is the kicker....i get the car back home call up AAM who made the Fuel Return System for the car and clint said that they have had that problem before sent a piece free of charge, i put the piece in and no more problems.............i took the car to National Speed and they tuned it no problem................point of the story is this.....i drove the car 13hrs for him to tune it...........he tried to charge me $250 for a problem he said he could not fix, or give me any type of solution...........took me 15mins and a phone call and the problemed was resloved................HE'S A CROOK
