I can see both sides. After reading some of the posts though, its seems like forged went above what most shops would do. They lent a lexus so you wouldn't be on foot. Fixed a engine that maybe they damaged or didnt, but with tuning no tuner ever pays if the engine breaks. So just fixing the engine shows they were trying to make it right for you.

Best of luck to both parties.

And this is what the OP does not understand....if he would only read some of the horror stories from other shops...this thread would not have passed page 1.....

But that would have been bad for me...Dont get me wrong now...I am on the side of the OP...because I stand to gain more from the OP as far as drama...more than FP could ever provide

Let me ask you guys this? what would you think of he shop, if you knew they allowed Employees too take your car to local club meets? and the Employee driving it with a suspended license?

What would you think of the shop then?

Ryan was driving a red G35 with Florida tags, at a local car meet 1 hour from the shop. But his license is suspended for getting a speeding ticket of 95 mph in a 60 mph zone.

Do you think the customer would appreciate that, if he knew?

Not taking any sides but, how do you know he wasnt taking the car out because they wanted to put miles on it to break the motor it? Alot of shops will put 500+ miles on the motor to break it in because they know some customers will pull out the parking lot and hit full boost on the first straight road they find.

What you just don't get is that you are talking **** about a shop that has gone above and beyond what almost any other shop would do. They could have let you take the car with the ticking noise, let you blow the motor, and charge you for all the reapirs.

Maybe so maybe not!!!

yes i agree they could have allowed it, But their would have been legal action shortly after. Since no waiver was ever signed!!!

I cannot speak to the suspended license because I do not know if that is true or not and given your track record, who knows

I can say that I was fully aware of who at Forged was driving my car during my build. How else are they suppose to shake the car down after the build ? Somebody has to drive it, and more than once I dare say.

Forged Performance was the second major shop to work on my car since I went FI over 3 years ago. BOTH shops drove the car over several weeks amongst shop employees to work any issues from the tune, look for leaking fluids, etc... I actually think this is a positive and it is a perk you will not be getting evidently.

You really need to just give up bro. You are flat out making stuff up, and it's getting to the point of laughable.

First of all, Ryan works in the front office, and never drives or touches the cars. I can assure you he has a valid drivers license. Each employee is on our corporate insurance policy, and their driving backgrounds are checked every six months. Our customers know that we test drive their cars before they are delivered. This is one of the reasons that when cars leave, they usually don't come back with an irritating rattle or some other small issue.

All of my employees treats our customers cars with the utmost respect at all times. I wont tolerate anything less.

Unbelievable...

You also need to get your timeline straight. Patrick was terminated in October 2008. Juan has had the Lexus loaner we provided since May 2008. It was about 3 weeks after his car was dropped off for the TT kit. It was offered to him because he said his daily beater was falling apart.

According to them they break the car in on the dyno, no need to street drive it. As far as the perk , that is fine. Their are more then enough shops in Ga to work on the car as well. They just don’t basis their business online!
