Do you think the customer would appreciate that, if he knew?

See ...now you are heading in the right direction...this is a little more like the info we like to hear ...BUT...as Klei14 has stated...this is how the shop puts miles on a new motor to break it in and also check for problems that usually dont show up on a dyno. When I showed up to pick up my car..AJ took my car out to do some final testing ...plus to test the additional Offroad upgrades they did to my already new BBK.

Dont give up now...you are on the right track with this....

edit** Are you talking about Little Ryan the little rich kid that owns the blue Evo and because he feels that a blue one is not enough for him so he goes out and buys a new silver one...is that the Ryan you talking about??? You really think Ryan is going to show up at a meet with a G when he has a EVO thats fully build that runs 30psi with 11K shocks., 25K motor.....let me stop...I dont want to expose Ryan as the little rich kid that he is.

Also how is it possible that you have to remove a complete tranny becasue a car wont fire up? Knowing your mechanic cut the wiring harness to remove the engine?

I was talking about this comment he made

Juan has had the Lexus loaner we provided since May 2008. It was about 3 weeks after his car was dropped off for the TT kit. It was offered to him because he said his daily beater was falling apart.

So my time line was wrong, you have had the car longer!!! That puts the car being there Middle of April now!!!

Where is your car right now? At Forged?

Why are you talking **** about a shop that still has your car? They are working on the car for free, you are only paying for parts, and yet you still complain.

IMO you should not be modding a car, if you can't afford a good DD, and need to borrow a car from Forged.

Why all the cheap shots at the shop, you start the thread about a problem with your car, and not that people tell you its normal for a car to take this long to get built, you have to find other things to bring the shop down.

I would suggest you perform any future modifications to the car yourself to include all the maintenance that will be needed. You will be better off in the end and learn a valuble lesson along the way.

Agreed!! And anything else needed to be done to car will be done by us. I don’t know why everyone makes it seem like rocket science to build or remove a motor, it isn’t that hard. We just didn’t want the hassle

Hell no, its not hard. Guys like me and XKR are just lazy bums with too much money and too little time to do it ourselves.

Do it, pull the motor from the car the second you get it home next week. Its the only way to know if they installed it correctly. Take it apart and put it back together yourself, its the only way to know for sure that its perfect!

Sharif should push your car out of the shop, and let you take it home in pieces.

The give you a HUGE bill for all the time it took to find the problems, remove the motor, and build. I'm sure its 125$ per hour, and I'm sure he has had to spend alot of time on this car.

ROFL!!! This guy here! I guess you dont have a clue to as how long its takes to remove a motor, disassemble a motor, order and receive all the parts, have the machine shop do the work to the heads & block or just the block, then reassemble the motor, wire the motor back up, install gauges "if u have them" wire up engine management "if u have one", check the cooling, and ect.Not to mention other cars that are infront of yours. There is alot more to it than you think. All that being said, it can take a good month or a month & a half to complete a build to 150% before it is released back to the customer

Man i wouldnt be trippin if i were you, if they gave you a loaner, fix the block for "FREE".
