Here is what you need to do.....And I am serious...Call Sharif and fix this issue....you are going to regret this. You live in ATL....people would killl to live that close to FP. If something goes wrong with your car...you are going to need him....even if you have it completed somewhere else. It cost me $1200 evertime I have to ship my car to him oneway .

Like I said...I understand how you feel...I have been there....but please...if you are going to trash him ... bring us something that we car scratch our heads about.

it musta meant something as you knowingly extended your timeline months by doing so..

its moreso going to suck if you have any problems down the road and you've been blacklisted.

1500 miles and bent rods on 10lbs boost seems very odd and is the one thing I think the OP has a right to be upset about, but he was offered a free rebuild to return to stock and chose otherwise, so he walked through that door on his own.

Juan - I understand your frustration, but builds do take a long time and there are always delays and setbacks. I see your point when you are constantly being told two more weeks, but aftermarket performance parts for brand new cars aren't the easiest things to come by quickly. Also, just because Sharif may be in a hurry, does not mean that machine shops or other skilled labor shops are in the same hurry. XKR's doctor office analogy is spot on, your motor build was not on the schedule and is now causing delays for other clients I am sure, but at the same time Sharif needs to keep his loyal customers happy as well, so its not like he can just drop everything and just knock your car out.

Lastly, I have a personal bias against anyone that comes on the forum and types with the grammar of a toddler. How can you expect any of us to take you seriously when it seems you cannot put a coherent thought on paper (figuratively). If your verbal skills match your writing skills, Sharif should have just said no to your business from the start.

Do you know the difference between a STOCK VQ motor and a BUILT VQ motor

IF you dont...there lies the problem....if you do...still stay you dont because the word Foolish will become a complement

Please replace the name Forged Performance with the name SGP and you will get the response you wanted.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, but I am sure your car will be perfect when it is done.

Everyone makes mistakes, but those first few pages were ridiculous.

Reminds me of this:

<a href="http://comics.com/pearls_before_swine/2008-12-29/" title="Pearls Before Swine"><img src="http://assets.comics.com/dyn/str_strip/000000000/00000000/0000000/200000/70000/0000/300/270305/270305.full.gif" border="0" alt="Pearls Before Swine" /></a>

lots of mistakes by both sides....i'm curious about your definition of "lies".if he missed deadlines because of long lead times from vendors, you should step back.counting on the aftermarket to function on a rigid time table is my first clue that you might be pissing in the wind.

Missing dealines, stating stuff was done too the car and never was. Until we went their and got on too him. He would constaly tell us they have completed something, then we would get their too check on the car and it wasnt.

Telling us the car was fired up on Monday and running, then all of a sudden the car wouldnt run or had spark. So they removed the tranny thinking it was the Flywheel.
How do you call one day and tell us the car is running, then say the car wont fire up and you dont knwo the problem.

if he had the consult 3 it would have told him exactly what was wrong with the car. But nope!!!

I dont understand how their was so mistakes on our part. Was simple drop car off, pay the bill. We didnt ahve any part of the build, exept spending money!!!

IN the way i see it, in the end, the wrong always tries to right themselves. in this case forged must have done something to the car to render it useless, otherwise no business out there will bother fixing it up for free. business is business.
