While ideling today I noticed my car was buring oil off of the drivers side exhaust port. I have True dual exhaust so I know its coming from the drivers side bank of the motor. When the oil temp was below 140-150 degrees f it was smoking, and when it warmed up above 150ish degrees it stopped smoking and never returned. This happened to me once before in the past and i didnt think anything of it, but today its happend twice now when the car was cold. My question is could this be caused by a bad seal on the greddy turbo, or a piston ring going bad? Im going to do a compression check tomororw to verify anything about the piston rings but just wanted to see if any other greddy tt owners have had this happen. This is on a stock block motor also.

Alright did the compression check today and the results were cylinders 1,2,3,6 read 160psi. Cylinders 3 and 5 read 155 psi. These numbers are pretty much even so I assume that all the cylinders are alright. Next thing Im wondering is if the oil that Im running is to heavy right now since its cold here (20degrees average) and that the oil is forcing its way around the turbo seal when its cold until the seal warms up? Is that a possibility?
