car will be running next month..and ready for the road no later than april 1st. Everything needed for the actual swap has been purchased..just waiting on a few more things. Headers came in today..but I wasnt home..ill have them tomorrow.

wait till you hear this thing. I went with a very large camshaft...not too big to where it wouldnt work well with the setup..but very large. If anyone knows anything about V8s..the duration on the cam is 238/240...with lift well over .600 on both sides.

If you guys knew how motivated this guy is, you wouldnt be saying that.
Saw the car in the batcave tonight, looks like some serious potential.

very healthy cam! Ive got a c5Z and my cam is a 227/231 .614/.617 112+2. N/A that cam will make 430rwhp with headers, pulley, and intake. GL on your project...as awesome as the VQ is (had an 05 350z for 3 years so Ive been in the community), the LS motors are hard to beat

if you're using info from noah I imagine you are well prepared for the troubles of getting it up and running, this should be pretty awesome, please post some vids when you have it running and have time!

The troubles he experienced were mostly due to him being the very first one. All the major troubles have been ironed out. As with any project like this..im sure to run into a few of them though..but thats expected.

Thanks. I hope to have the car at least running within 30 days. As long as everything comes when it should(within reason) it should be running by the end of feb and ready to roll out of the garage 100% by the end of march.

lol For now im just doing cam/nitrous. The cam I purchased has made 451whp with stock heads, headers, and a FAST intake manifold on a stock block. With the proper heads it would be closer to 500whp. Im expected 425-435whp with just the cam...before the 150 shot...so it should be somewhere around 570ish whp +-(yes on the stock bottom end)...not to mention my car should would be 100+lbs lighter than a twin turbo/vq setup. The goal is to get the car down to 3200lbs with me in it....Im not going to go crazy with the motor because I still plan on going single turbo. Once the motors in I will see where(if) I can fit the turbo. its most likely going to require a modified rad. support...so it will be NA/Nitrous for this year.

Should be an exciting year indeed.
