yes, but it also helps with access to remove the wastegates if needed. I had one get stuck open and having it down lower made it easy to work on. Also easier to remove tranny.... basically convenience

another thing that w/ dumping down the line instead of where the factory greddy places it is that it will prevent boost spike/creep at low boost settings. also it will help the flow of exhaust merge better vs the sharp 90 that the factory piece has.

Interesting, I might look into doing this then, god knows when I looking for a vacuum leak reaching up around the tranny blindly for the waste gates sucks.
