Default best way to clean your intercooler?

i have sanded and polished the endtanks but how do i polish the tubes that run side to side. i have the Greddy FMIC and i tool it to have the inside cleaned out while i have everything out and the place did some kind of acid wash that they use on big diesel truck intercoolers and now the aluminum rows are dull. any special tool to do this? the endtanks were easy but i clueless on how to polish the horizontal rows

Thats why so many show cars are trailer queens. Either that or you have to have the houseboy wipe down the entire car every time you take it out.

The OP asked how to clean his intercooler fins, not how to envelop the universe in a Billy Mays vs. Vince product combination-of-mayhem.

+1 for Mother's alum polish and lots of time...
