Thanks. I didn't know you're on ChicagoZ too! Cool. Yeah I rode in Tom's car over the weekend. The ride was amazing. The best way I can describe the torque in his car is like being on a roller coaster when it drops straight down at full speed!
It was like that only I was pinned in the seat lol. I doubt I'll build my car to his level but at least I can enjoy the benefits of having boost on my car when I need it.
Right now, I'm comparing a few kits (ST and TT) before I finally decide which is for me. I want a very mild tune very much stock like in reliability, drive ability and sound level. Somewhere in the mid 300s HP and TQ is fine.
I'm not ruling out Vortech either. I guess I would have to test drive each platform in my range to see which I would prefer best.
Next week I'm heading back to GRD to check out their shop car. They have an APS TT setup on a G coupe with 43K successful FI miles! When I heard that, I felt wow... I have to see it

Yes, i'm on chicagoz forum also. You were intereted in my 06 airbox couple of weeks ago lol!!
Also, check out GTM TT kit as well, one of great kit out on the market these days. If you thinking about going ST, there is no question for brand ST...Go with Powerlab kit.

Just my Two cents

Tom was also telling me to look into the Powerlabs ST kit if I go that route. I haven't heard much about the GTM TT kit. I have to look more into that one also.
Funny thing about all of this is, the more I research, the more I realize I need to continue researching
There is so much to learn but its all in good fun

I think hes going with a 50/50 mix pure meth and distiled water. We are going to mount the container in the trunk it makes for a clean install. Check out the DIY thread on meth install. I have almost 4 gallons off meth for him too.

Update: FIXED Rattle noise and replaced to 3.12 pulley
I have nothing but time these days...lolol
I had an issue with some rattle comming out around blower area, I decided to go fix that problem but i already shipped out all my tools/jack stand to dallas, so i had no tools with me. lololol So i ended up going to one of my buddy shop to borrow tools.
I didn' tknow where it comming from at first..Well...Ok..found a problem, the pipe goes behind/under the blower was hitting a the blower
This is not going to be easy...
After remove the blower/bracket, i saw a scratches under the blower and pipe..
oh well.. i thought everything installed correctly..but i guess not.
i had to twist the pipe to make it fit much smoother..after play around with pipe, finally it found a spot.
Now pipe and blower ain't hitting each other Yey!
Follow pics up! DO IT RIGHT AT FIRST TIME, then you don't have to go thru all this...lol

Allright before i put the blower back on, i replaced the 3.33 pulley to 3.12 pulley, that way i don't have to take out bracket/blower later.
