awesome man...i was lookin at that today for my car, don't really need it at the moment, but i have already been lookin into getting a utec, 600cc injectors, 2.87, some meth injection and a retune...the saving has begun

 

^I need to do ECU reflash, because what i know is with meth injection you need Edit Not need but it helps not to throw CEL light ) to flash your ECU.

 

hmm ive never heard that, ill have to be sure, i planned to just have a seperate map for using it with the utec once i do it...didn't have plans to flash but idk ill have to ask JT what he thinks about it.. ur saying it will throw cel? ive seen others who have it and no flash that i didn't think had cel...what code?

 

Frankie told me he got the CEL light on/off, and i read about the flash ECU with meth/injection from thread, but can not find it now.

The only cel light I ever got with the Utec is a misfire code.

 

When I went with the haltech I got the cel lights. Like right now have cel light vdc & slip. The car runs better than it ever has before. I just need to get the ecu flashed to get rid of the cel codes. Still trying to trouble shoot the vdc slip problem.

It was nice meeting u chefJ. That V3 is nice I love the new design. If vortech had that back when I was procharged I would have went with vortech.

so ur saying the utec is causing cel then and not the meth? i was pretty sure chef was saying he would need the reflash cause the meth would throw the cel....

he will not need a flash. Meth just lowers AIT's Raises your octane level,allows for more advanced timing.And for safty to help keep knock away.
