wiseco 8.5/eagle rods, bc st2 cams,+1mm valves, spring and retainer ported flowed head, arp studs, acl bearings and kinetix intake manifold. still busy configuring a better fuel system. turned the manual boost controller all the way down(0.2bar).....362whp. almost certain it will make +550whp 12psi on 7000rpm run. but running utec and 600cc injectors(inj duty already 85% on 6000rpm run 11psi) i might only do 10psi.
atwin intank and bigger injectors and max that turbo up!...

otherwise you should be fine with walboro.....maybe water/meth injection

...forgot, you have fuel return system right?

yes to return system. had the walbro and a in line pump which crapped out. with just the walbro at 11psi it fell away after 6000rpm. that's why we could only do dyno pulls to 6000rpm. cleared the fuel rials and fitted larger hoses joining with a y and fitting another walbro. so if this works out i am still not to sure on the utec handling all the power.

^^ to clarify, hp doesnt matter, its the amount of boost needed to make that hp. Anything under 15 psi still has pretty good resolution on the UTEC. if you can only make 500ish hp on 15 psi, then ya thats a good switching point for a new EMS.

plus anything more than that you start needing pretty big injectors, dual pumps etc.

^^ again hp, has nothing to do with how well the UTEC controls the motor. Its all based on how much psi, since the resolution is based off psi.

how is controlling 600 hp different than 400 is the resolution is the same? its not..

OK, not enough $$$ for other ems so I'll stick with utec....maybe get tuner and 750cc and see what it can do at 1bar.

my point was more fuel is needed, pump gas grade isnt reliable...specially when you only have the shltty 91 octane we have here in az for premiun
injector scaling...fail safe features......its not directly related to the power ovbiously, but it was a "scale" i used
For my m8t goals here with the 600cc injectors @ a decent duty cycle and goals of 550whp(for now ) i think it will be jsut fine too.

I am considering the standard PowerLabs kit on my JDM RHD Z33. With all the re-routing issues and piping problems you had . . . would you recommend it?

humm, hard to say......happy with the power now and less work than doing a whole new kit but still for the money not worth it.

No rubbing here, only the clearance probs bc of RHD conversion.

Think snyperZ had a real weak w/g spring in here as well, i have trouble holding higher boost.

He went on about how bad the wastegate spring was and replaced it.

Guessing you're not running the stock tial spring.

or maybe that was the blow off valve? I don't remember, you might want to ask him what spring he replaced.

did pm him but no reply must be the w/g spring.....fitting the .6bar large yellow this week.
tuning went smooth till .4bar. at first i thought it was my fueling but checking the boost and load columns after .4bar, it's all over the place.
taking the car out on the street you can clearly hear the waste splatter dumping before 4000rpm......guess we didn't pick this up in the noisy dyno room.
