Maybe.... But I am quite sure its no where as advanced as the Ferrari F1 transmission on the f430 or the new F460
.
I am well versed in this setup.... And is my reason for taking the back seat and watching everyone else instead of being the first to jump in. Once I found out the the transmission on the F1 would cost close to 30k to replace.... I was even afraid to upgrade the floor mat
..plus you only get one year warranty ...I know the power limit on the F1 transmission and it's no where near 1000whp.
The transmission on the GTR is 17k....Not willing to be the first on anything dealing with this car. I will watch where things go!!!

the GTR wont be far behind. pair of 67+mm turbos on custom manifolds and tranny to hold 1500 hp and they will be right with the supras

The last model of the F430 had the newer F1 system.... The new F460 has the most advanced transmission ever attached to a paddle shifter
