Mike, you should PM Romey to have him update the top 50 list. Looks like you are moving to the top of the Street Daily Drivers list, at least until St8dum1 gets on a DJ. You should have him also update your build description.
If I remember correctly, this time around you are running JWT C8 cams, which are the same ones that I have. What cams were your previously running?

I think I had C2 before...... Now I am running C8.

If Larry@SP has his way...today there may be 2 more contenders for those spots too

With the smaller turbos and small A/R value on my steup, I am a little concerned that back pressure will become an issue. With the longer duration 272 cams, there is a greater likelyhood of reversion (exhaust gases moving back into the cylinders after TDC). I won't know for sure until we get on the dyno and see how everything works together. If my torque starts to drop off significantly in the higher rpm range, then I may change to larger A/R turbine housings. If it doesn't, then I'll know everything is working well together.
I think GTM is on to something by using a shorter duration on the exhaust cam lobes. This seems like it would help with a setup like mine using smaller turbos and A/R. I opted for the JWT cams because they have higher lift, but the GTM Stage 2 cams look interesting.

Rich is running the C2s, which are the cams that I was previously running. I hope moving to the C8's helps me, but I'm not totally sure at this point. I do think the C8s certainly helped your setup - with your large turbos your back pressure should be relatively low for a TT setup, and your torque curve looks fantastic.

After seeing what my setup produces..... I would say change the A/F turbine to a larger one..... You have the somewhat same motor I have also the same cams.... Faster spool up turbos would be hell to deal with without a TC....I guess I am just saying it would only be one labor charge if changed before install.
I am getting the TC unit. Right now I need to decide whether to ditch the HKS injectors and go with higher impedance injectors, or to try the AEM peak and hold injector driver module.
On that note, has anyone tried the AEM driver module? If so, please post your thoughts.

at least on my setup, i;ve found that increasing the boost will carry the powerband to redline regardless of how 'small' my cams are.
Thom, I'm sure SP can turn out plenty of 900DD++ hp cars. Just take big turbos and lots of fuel.
But its not like I dont have a new setup coming as well

You'd be amazed how many cars they turn out actually....especially auto cars (for supra's through TH400's) and they still do 750rwhp+.
Yea they do domestics too....have some SICK stuff racing tonight up here at KOTS (King of the Streets)....
Most of the domestic guys are pretty secretive though

If you can do 800+rwhp through a TH400, you got a machine!

EDIT, I looked at Injector Dynamic's website. I didn't see an injector between 1000cc and 2000cc, so I guess the 2000cc is what you need if you want to use their injectors. Nonetheless, you should be in good shape if you want to generate an E85 map.

Mike, also, I have not heard much about Injector Dynamics. What have you heard about them?
They make 1000cc high impedance injectors, and they look to be quite a bit less expensive than the HKS 1000cc low impedance injectors, maybe a little over 1/2 the price.
Maybe I'll pick up the ID 1000cc injectors and sell the HKS's to eliminate the need for the injector driver.

I was told that the ID is a great injector..... Plus i am told it's the best for the high impedance I am looking for. I am not sure what the price is ... But my guess is the ID cost more than the HKS 1000cc that I use to have.
E85 is not ony list.... We don't have it here in the south.

I'm in the same boat. It looks like there are stations to the north of me in St. Lucie county and to the south of me in Broward and Dade counties, but nothing here in Palm Beach county...
Although 1000cc injectors are adequate for my hp goal, I'm tempted to get the 2000cc injectors so that I can move to E85 if it ever becomes available in my area. My major concern is idle/low rpm (under 2k rpm) characteristics of the 2000cc injectors using the F-CON for tuning on gas. Please let me know how well Shariff is able to dial in the idle/low rpm characteristics when you move to these. Unfortunately, I still seem to have time as I wait for Japtrix to get through their backlog of cars that got in there before my motor arrived (nearly 2 months ago).
