Sweet!
I have actually done this event Back in 92 right befroe I joined the army. I took my dad's Thunderbird SC and ran that. I was a blast!! I would post pics but I dont want you guys to make fun of my hair style
..
i would love to do this event in the M3 it would be a blast, I just need to know dates cost ect....
The biggest problem I saw back then and I think it may or may not be a problem is fuel (enough fuel to finish). WO for all those miles.. Hell my M3 gives me 12miles WO x 14 gallons = 168ish

Guys would any one know what the highest speed some one has done with a TS CF diffuser on the car??
I have fitted mine yesterday. I tested it to 100mph for 5mins with no problems but i still dont like the fact that this diffuser still leaves a gap thats could allow air to force the diffuser off at high speed??
Im looking to build a flat under tray from aluminium to meet up with the TS diffuser to cover this air gap.

awesome work!
I've read through most of this thread and I've seen the undertray ideas but what about the actual kit on the car like body kit. Is there a style that is allows more air flow then the others? I was just wondering b/c I want a body kit eventually but I would like to get one that is functional not just good looking

The purpose of the underbody components is to increase downforce without increasing drag. Mike will certainly need a significant amount of downforce at the speeds he will be driving, and I want more downforce to increase tire adhesion while on the track.
