The G35s and 350s already have pretty good drag coefficients. I'm not sure a body kit will improve that (although wide body kits will allow for bigger tires
)
The purpose of the underbody components is to increase downforce without increasing drag. Mike will certainly need a significant amount of downforce at the speeds he will be driving, and I want more downforce to increase tire adhesion while on the track.

Terry is the one that gets the credit for getting the diffuser made....I am just following in his foot steps. Dont wnat to give away too much until we have it on the car...because it seems like a certain Lawchick is trying to copy

I will update when the seats and the cage goes in. Sherif gets the car after Zdays. He will have the other things ready in advance.

With regard to the underbody/diffusers, a few weeks ago I ordered and paid for a MasterGrades TS style CF rear diffuser from EricisKlumzyee (he usually hangs out in the G35Driver forum).
I have not been able to get hold of Eric for the last couple of weeks, though. Does anyone know what is going on with him? If so, let me and XKR know.

Very, very nice!!!
I'm glad you got rid of the Bose piece of crap. I hate the sound of the Bose in my G (and any other Bose system I've heard).

Sweet!
I have actually done this event Back in 92 right befroe I joined the army. I took my dad's Thunderbird SC and ran that. I was a blast!! I would post pics but I dont want you guys to make fun of my hair style
..
i would love to do this event in the M3 it would be a blast, I just need to know dates cost ect....
The biggest problem I saw back then and I think it may or may not be a problem is fuel (enough fuel to finish). WO for all those miles.. Hell my M3 gives me 12miles WO x 14 gallons = 168ish

I just got back from BBORR and ran 118 miles at an average of 125MPH..reaching 140 several times I burned through almost 3/4 of a tank, just fyi...car is 530hp to the tire and I believe 600cc injectors...I placed 3rd and was very happy! I missed 1st place by less than ONE second over 118 miles..

How they ever got such a good reputation is beyond me... And why a supposidly luxury brand would use them in their cars also blows my mind. ![dunno](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/dunno.gif)

I am not liking this......I put my eggs in this one basket.....This will mess up my schedule for sure. After ZdayZ ... Forged gets the car...after that it come back to Houston for the shop here to do the cage . I thought the Diffuser issue was the least of my problems..

Eric has not been on the G35driver forum since 4/28 unless he visited without logging in. I have sent him a few messages also in regards to parts but to no avail. I think people over there are getting concerned also by the messages on his user page, hope he is ok as he is normally pretty good at getting back to people.

Well, I just read all 20 pages of this thread and I'm so glad I stumbled across this thread. If you guys can get this made and put into some sort of production you would be making my life soooo much easier because I was about to go through the process of chopping up a TS diffuser to make it fit on a CS bumper, have a mold made, and done in carbon. And I was gonna just make a undertray out of black plastic that's cut and dremeled to fit but I'd love to have a carbon undertray. Put me down to get in on this!
