After Raj stated that we will not have the loooong runway...keeping it quiet would be pointless... With this setup I will be the slowest...so might as well post it

Dont plan my funeral yet guys.....google "Silver State Classic"...Cass posted part of it. There are a few high speed spots that can be hairy because of cross winds....but there are alot of "Dragon" like corners.
I want to be able to match some of the open class times.

Mike - I did a quick google search and came up with this:

<div><object width="480" height="388"><param name="movie" value="http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/k4odP2Qy3TfLFN4AEZ&related=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/k4odP2Qy3TfLFN4AEZ&related=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="388" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always"></embed></object><br /><b><a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xngbh_silver-state-classic-350z_auto">Silver State Classic 350z</a></b><br /><i>Uploaded by <a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/joeyjack">joeyjack</a></i></div>

Super G indeed!!!!

Your car seemed plenty bad a$$ last year at the airstrip with the 700s and even then you were already talking 850s which sounded extreme...... All I can say with this setup is to make sure the IC piping stays on tight!!!

Mike,
Just don't run water/oil/fluid filled gauges. They tend to lag a little behind what is actually happening.

Best of luck again.

Cass...I remember that run....something broke lose ...if he had not down shifted he would not have locked up the rear....some fluid got on the wheels. If I remember correctly...something was not bolted down tight enough....That was ugly!!!!

Ignoring costs, the undertray is the way to go. A large wing will add more drag for the equivalent amount of down force.

You guys seem to know a lot about down force....very impressive.....Ferrari was one of the first to use them on a street car...ferrari is not a big fan of big wings...But you are correct....you get more drag. Wings are more effective in corners when it places downforce on the rear tires. Its a must on F1 cars.....F-one...not FI..

Sorry if I missed this, but who is making your CF undertray? Id like one, even if in aluminum for those high speed runs. The less air that stays under the car the better.
