so XKR, are you not modifying the transmission itself at all? no upgraded synchros or gears... welded gussets on the case?

I understand you want to keep some civility with your clutch. But I dont understand how you ever expected to quintouple the power in the car and make a sacrifice like that?

What do you mean by show is over if it doesnt hold?

I had not plans to do that... Why you ask?? Are you asking because of the OS / TQ??

what I mean is... Sharif will have to make the OS3 work....I am not spending a dime more on clutches.....I am still upset at Carbonetics ....their claims are false.... I will see if OS is legit

LOL. Very funny guys.

Actually you know what, I'll take you up on it. Have Sharif set your rev limit to 2k rpms and I'll race you.

We're going to have to do some local testing to validate that claim, prior to ZdayZ!

Just asking, to ask, I guess.

Even N/A our transmissions fall apart and I didn't know if it was at all common to harden the gears or put in beefier synchros. at the power levels you are shooting for, I didn't know if shop cars like IP or SP were using the 6mt or not with good longevity.

I know Alberto blew a few at the drag strip.

Someone else asked me the same question... I was told that the trans will hold up as long as I don't drag race it....granny shifting will not affect it. That's why I am proud of my high 12's low 13's run

well if can get running, i'm sure we can arrange some spirited low boost runs.

Pretty sure my buddy will come with me to Zdayz and drive his Grand national. plenty of room for tires and Q16

not apples to apples but my DXD single disk help 769rwhp (with 711rwtq, which I'm certain is more than the supra made)...

just a matter of the right application as Mike has shown......wish there were a set rule for the clutches though...ugh

I really disagree. If you drive at 11/10th's all of the time, then yeah, no gearbox is going to hold up. But I don't think many people here have had any issues with the 6MT.

XKR This might be a stupid question, but have you looked into changing the pressure plate I have the ATS triple carbon clutch and it comes in three different versions 1350kg 1600kg and 1700kg. They also offer different compound disk for different drive ability.
