XKR Super G... Going for Mach 1
#481
No its not in yet.....I will post step by step updates.
Thanks.....
On the rear I am running 20 x 11.5 with 305 x 25 x 20. No issues with rubbing. Fender have to be rolled though.
Thats correct.....you can run up to 305's on a 10.5 rim......BUT !!!! .....depending on offset if it will fit on the car.
Thanks.....

sorry for the off topic...
rude,
how far from your suspension is that 305 tire with the +35 offset? what's your camber?
an 11" with a +35 would only be 1mm further from the suspension than a 11.5" +30 which is what I wanted to try.
That 11.5" should fit with a 295 tire then.

You can easily fit an 11" wide wheel with a 295 or 305 tire if you have the right offset. I'm running a 19 x 11" wheel with a 305/30 tire and I think Mike is running a 20 x 11" wheel with a 305/25 tire. My rear wheel offset is +35. Not sure what offset Mike has at the rear.
Edit: ^ I see Mike beat me to it.

I'm running Toyo R888 305/30 R19 tires on Volk GTS 19" x 10.5" wheels with a 30mm offset.
I have about 1/4" - 3/8" of inner clearence with camber setup for road racing (I think somewhere around 1.5-2 deg., but I don't remember for sure). My fenders are rolled, and I rubbed very slightly once on the driver's side when taking a corner fast enough to enter a 4 wheel slide where I was used every bit of the track. So, with the 10.5" wheels, 35 mm offset might be optimum for this camber setting.
If you are setting it up for 1/4 mi. or street use with less camber, you might even want to go with a 38-40 mm offset.
Don't go any less than 30 mm offset if you will be running 305s unless you are going to run very high camber.

Savini SV-10......This company will custom make it anyway you want it. GreenGoblin with the wide body green Z was who gave me the info on them.
I am MAXXXXED out on how wide the rims can be......but Savini was the only company willing to make them the way i wanted with a 5"+ lip.
As you can see in the pic above.....even with 305's the tire is somewhat stretched.
