Hks tt kit. What do you think?

Hks tt kit. What do you think?
im interested on picking up a hks tt kit. i searched and didnt find much info on it. i know its an incomplete kit, but the one im looking at has piping and intercooler. but it has a bad turbo.
does anyone have any imput about the tt kit

Buy the GTM kit....its around the same as the HKS kit with extras.

I am going to be selling a used HKS TT cheap, less than 200 miles, check the classifieds.

That would depend on who is doing the fabrication.
Kit is already sold btw.

aren't the garretts known for being more durable than the mitsu's that greddy uses?

Garrett turbochargers are the most reliable turbos in the world, they are also the largest manufacturer.
Also, if you are referring to APS, those are hybrid turbos, not a standard off-the shelf Garrett so I wouldn't compare them, even then the older APS kits have proven to be very reliable overall (although some have had issues unfortunately, but Garrett is not to blame.)
Also keep in mind that an improperly installed turbocharger will lead to premature failure.

I haven't seen that many of these kits at all. I know boostintt, Andy, and I have them now, as well as the HKS demo car. Is there really anyone else?

Garrett doesn't build cars and Mitsubishi turbochargers are far from the best, the best would be an IHI turbocharger - although expensive.

People overseas still use Mitsu turbos. I agree that the design is old, but many race companies still prefer Mitsu turbos of Garrett.
