Default Oil pressure gauge for those with Procharger

Quick question for those with the Procharger.

Under boost how high does your gauge go? Where is it during idle?

when the car is warmed up, but still partially cold, the pressure is at 30 at idle........when the car is totally warm, it sits at about 15 at idle........i haven't buried the needle yet under boost, but i have normally aspirated.......oil pressure seems pretty much the same as it was before

I only ask because I just had my oil changed and it seems the needle moves more. Today I almost buried the needle (: I'm not sure if that is a bad thing or not?

As the engine oil gets used, it tends to thin out a bit. When you get your oil changed, using the same weight of oil, you may see the pressure go to higher values than before. The Procharger should not have any effect on your oil pressure.

Make sure that you have fully warmed up the engine before getting heavy on the throttle. This means that both coolant and oil temps are up. The coolant temp rises fast compared to oil temp when starting a cold engine. Even though your coolant temp is up to operating range, the oil may not be. So you should drive for several minutes with coolant up to temp before assuming the oil is up into an acceptable range. Without an oil temp gauge, this is all you can do. If it seems like oil pressure is very high when you get down on it, then you might need to wait a little longer.

From what I've seen, at idle your oil pressure should read about 15 on the gauge when everything is warmed up.
