Well after countless hours and two months of not having my Z the Greddy TT set-up is finally complete! (minus the tuning) My boyfriend and I did the install ourselves and his dad helped along the way. It was def. not easy and all the threads that say you can do the install with the engine in the car are a lie!!! lol. I have no clue how they did it b/c there are just some bolts on the exhaust manifold you cannot get to! So after 2 or 3 weeks of trying to do the install in the car the engine had to come out.

Mod List:
Greddy TT with intercooler - local forum member
UTEC w/ map sensor - forum member
DW 600cc - thanks to Forged Performance
1 step colder plugs - again Forged Performance
GreddyEvoTT exhaust - local forum member
Turbo XS testpipes - WeSellCarparts.com - best deal!
ACT 6 puck sprung clutch and streetlite flywheel - forum member
Setrab Oil Cooler - local forum member
Cusco oil catch can - not going to install is FS, I want a Greddy one
Walbro FP - injected Performance
AEM UEGO - National Speed
AEM tru-boost controller - National speed
Autometer dual gauge pod - National speed - awesome customer service!
exhaust gaskets, cat/testpipe gaskets - Celebrity Nissan (best price)
Painted the plenum blue

Fabrications/extra modifications:
Powersteering cooler relocation
Washer tank relocation
stock oil cooler elimination
front bumper
radiator overflow tank relocation
fuel lines wrapped in heat wrap and moved from the 1/2 inch off the turbo to about 5 inches away (will be modding further down the rd to add to safety)
Starter wrapped in fiberglass
cool tape added to areas near turbos
testpipes wrapped in fiberglass wrap
wideband bung welded on
exhaust manifold cracked on one side, welded but will prob need to be fixed again at a later date

Started her up last night idles really rough and dies with a touch of the throttle but atleast it started up! Needs tuning really bad have an appt for next weekend with Japtrix

Be careful......They f'd up my buddy's Z. If you decide to got with them make sure you triple check everything they do!!!!!!! It's your engine so....
Sorry but the install's with the engine in the car are not lie's they are just difficult.

Time for an Update

Over the past couple monts, the Z has been taken off the road again to undergoe more changes =D.

We removed the motor and tore it down to the bare block and shipped it off to Forged Performance for Sharif to work his magic. We are getting the block S1 Package (Balancing and polishing the crankshaft, check the main bore, decking the Block, pressure cleaning, bore and hone with trq plate, and block re-assembly). Parts include: Arias Zero Silicon AL EXTREME Duty Piston set 9.0:1
.020 overbore, Eagle Rods, ACL Thrust Washers, ACL Main and Rod Bearings, and ARP bolts.

We received the block back and are in the process of re-assembling the remaining parts (valvetrain, upper/lower oil pan, etc.). We decided to strip the paint on the valve cover and powder coat it mag blue along with the front timing cover. It turned out beautiful... see pics below.

There is a back order on some gaskets & O-rings we ordered but we are well underway on getting the motor back in the car. The goal is to drive it up to Forged to be re-tuned for 550 whp.

Looking nice! i know how hard all of that is lol. While you're at it, you should add an ATI damper to your build. Cheap and will help increase the longevity!

Depending on the fuel system, that should have no issue breaking 600whp on his heartbreaker with that turbo kit and those cams.
