Default Vortech owners, how many miles on your stock block since vortech?

I know there is a thread just like this but mine is a little bit different. There was only 4 vortechs in that entire thread of about 60 people. I know there are more than 4 people on stock blocks with vortech.

Can we get a running list of your mods/psi/whp/wtq and miles you have been supercharged on your stock blocks?

I am interested in seeing how hard people are pushing their vortechs on the stock motor or how many miles a conservative vortech setup has seen on a stock motor.

Ill keep an updated list so its nice and clean.

1. 350Z400rwhp - 330whp and 300wt 8lbs boost. 7,000 miles now with the Vortech and about 60k on my engine.

2. Car Vs Driver - 365whp and 320 wtq on heartbreaker 3,500 miles on vortech 58k miles on engine.

3. thegallardo - 6psi 343 dynamics and 381 dyno jet, with 30k.

4. CaneZMD - 50k miles on my z with the vortech. Just changed to the 3.12 pulley. Installed at 30k, 80k on the z now.

5. Cuz350z - Added the vortech at 60k miles in August of 07, at 74k miles now so 14k boosted. I admittedly dont drive the car that hard though. It has been autoxed, dragged and to Zdayz. Hp: 338whp on sharifs DD

6. JET MECH - 05 revup 35th anniversery model. 430whp/390wt (dyno jet at GTM) 14 lbs boost at 6600 rpm, 15,000 miles with vortech. 20,000 on engine. STRICTLY RUN 100 OCTANE FUEL. heavy cooling/supporting mod's to keep the stock block together this long. also running a non rev-up cog setup on a rev-up kit. this is not my DD just a weekend toy.

7. nd2spd - Baseline: 243.44whp/242.94wtq - Vortech: 372.06whp/317.78wtq - 8.58 psi Boost - Vortech installed at 29,644 - currently at 29,900

8. iStan - Baseline: ?? - Vortech: 313whp/282wtq - 5 psi Boost - Vortech installed at 14XXX- currently at 43XXX

9. str8dum1 - best pull was 396/330 on sharif's dyno dynamics maybe 7k on the setup with 40k on car

10. Quamen - 414whp/355 ft-lbs at 10psi. Whopping 350 miles!!!!! Working on your car more than driving it FTMFW!!!!

11. Not my car but I installed a kit on a 03 auto coupe. at about 7 psi it put down 350 hp and close to the same tq. Been a while so not positive on the exact numbers. But the car has 54k and been SC'd for about 20K. Not a single hiccup

12. marra23 - burned piston after about 9000mile, 0.4bar...bad tuned unichip at 300whp.

13. cwylie - 360hp 330tq 4k miles so far. Daily Driver 3.13 pully and catback

14. 05Z33 - 394whp/335tq with 3.12 pulley. Added 2.87 and getting tuned in a couple of weeks. Motor has 13000 miles with vortech and 18000 miles without. It's my DD.

15. DB350z3469 - My mods are in my sig... On AAM's Dynojet I pulled 460whp and 380wtq on 11lbs boost. I had about 12,000 miles with my Vortech before I took it in for a built long block and TT.

16. Nexx - a/f high 11's low 12's, 2 weeks later, tune too aggressive, blew engine*

17. forced_04 - 3.12 pulley 377whp 316 ft/lb installed a 31,914 I am at 45,xxx right now...

18. dorkstar - 2.87 pulley 421whp 366trq 12psi installed 66-70k made it to around 112k before stock block failed new motor in the works. o had blower replaced once for bearing failure *blew engine*

19. tonyzS/C03 - 280whp/279 ft-lbs @ 6psi. got about 9000 miles on the blower and 58,000 on the motor. also have DC sports headers and full Nismo exhaust.

20. chaparro78 -80k miles on my Vortech, on 2.89 pulley

21. Chef-J - 3.12 / 1300 milies on blower/ 49,000 milies on motor

22. ForceInduction - Less than 30,000 miles on it when I installed it and now I am pushing 90,000. Stock boost which is around 7psi. Gone through 1 clutch so far...and one belt.

HP & TQ is relative to the dyno ... case in point, I put down ~365 on Dave's heart breaker, yet I can easily pull over 400 on a Dyno Jet.

Best thing to do is compare your baseline against your results and see how much gain you have. I gained just about 145HP peak over my baseline at the wheels, but there are huge gains across the board.

I have some slight blow by, and the inlet shows signs of some slight slight contact.

I really need to sit down one weekend and rip her apart and fix everything. Just lazy/tired. I'm a horrible horrible FI owner.
