yeah ended up going entirely different and got a brand new vortech kit at a great deal, (done with used kits)..gonna get a nice safe setup and make some good power.. much less stress on stock rods than turbo imo..gonna keep it around 400whp stock block for the time being and dd the car.. maybe get a 370 in the future and keep this for fun.. saved alot of money doing the easy vortech install
myself which is going toward upgrading the setup now which is where im at and get tuned the 23rd..

My mods are in my sig... On AAM's Dynojet I pulled 460whp and 380wtq on 11lbs boost. I had about 12,000 miles with my Vortech before I took it in for a built long block and TT.

As with a lot of AAM,S old stuff before JT got there i call total as i have never seen that much torque out of a centrifical s/c yet. There maybe one exception and that would be on sentry,s car at much more boost.

a/f high 11's low 12's i told the tuner that i thought high 10's low 11's were the norm for the Z but he insisted that he had done many other Z's the same way with no problems. sure enough two weeks later kaboom! around the same time another G who had gotten a tune at the same place went kaboom! the shop was already out of business by then.

Haha Exactly why i said"aam's dynojet"... Needless to say aam isnt doing my built motor and SFR TT project right now, and should say enough on how i feel about aam and their business practices...

I don't think that is completely unrealistic. I hit 414whp and 355 ft-lbs at 10psi.

just a different feeling. the turbos are just as kick in the *** all the sudden. the vortech felt like it got stronger and stronger throughout the revs. i enjoyed the vortech while i had it but i enjoy the turbo more.
