Default VDC, Slip, p0201 All on?!?!

I reset my ecu last night and upon start up.. I get all these lights on!!

VDC
Slip
P0201

None of them have shut off. I've driven the car about 10 miles. The RPM's were all over the place at idle but have since got alot smoother.

P0201 looks like it's either a Injector problem or MAF? It's just weird my car didn't have these lights on for ~250 miles and now I reset the ECU and they come on right away
Anyone else run into this problem? I tried to search the code but seems like no one has had this problem to make a thread..

this is a Greddy TT, CJ RFS, Haltech + Turbonetics Reflash

---- Update: fixed problem by putting MAF back into the charge pipe.

^^ Already checked the brake fluid. Nice quick edit haha.

Checked out that thread too. Doesn't have anything helpful. Utec, different CEL's.

It's a 04 G35 6MT Coupe.

I searched the board for the code and someone posted it's a Injector Circuit Malfunction? But there was also a post about it being MAF related.

I disconnect my MAF and reconnected.. still there.

"Mass Volume Low Input" Does that mean my MAF is not getting enough air or the voltage is low?

Check your chassis codes the abs side. And see if you get a C1130 code. That code is Engine 1 fuel cut. I'm Curious if you get that code too.

On your maf code. Check your data logger to make sure its still reading air temps ok. I bet it reads fine. Sence u are running on MAP now the maf code will not cause a problem. You only need it for Air intake Temps.

I still need it off for emissions though. Does the MAF have to sit in the air column??

A normal scaner will not check the Chassis codes you need a Diagnostic tester. Any stealerships will have one. I dont think autozones testers check chassis codes. I would call around maybe you can have someone scan it gor free.

Yes, because it also reads air temps. You can delete the whole Maf and go with the haltech AIT sensor. I plan to later down the road.

You can't do that.. Even with the AIT Haltech you will need the MAF in there to get some sort of reading or you car will be dumping fuel not getting a AIT reading to the ECU. (ECU still needs the OEM MAF for that.. or spliced from a aftermarket AIT sensor). I didn't want to go through with cutting more stuff up so I just left the MAF connected to its harness.

I have both in my car right now but the MAF is ziptied in the engine bay not in the actual piping.. Car ran fine for 350 miles like this. I am getting a CEL now after I reset the ECU..
(This was all verified through Hal)

Right, you still need the maf harness just to splice into to send signal, that's it, I believe. Your car is tuned on MAP correct?

One more thing that would cause the VDC SLIP light to stay on is the crankshaft position sensor But I guess you are not getting that code either. I have read that they start to go out after 70,000 miles.

Trying to trouble shoot myself not getting the crankshaft position code but going to change it out anyway. I have a little over 70,000 miles on my Z.

Plugged in another MAF tonight.. same problem.. funny thing is.. I pulled the MAF off completely and it idled better ?!!?!?

noticed it only idles all jumpy and stalls when it's a rough start. If the car turns over immediately, the idle is a little better.

I'm dumping alot of gas since I lost half a tank to 70 miles of driving L:AKSDLAKSJ

Gonna look into it more tomorrow..

WHERE THE F IS THE MAF VOLTAGE LOG IN THE HALTECH DATA LOGS?!?! I can't find it..

If anyone was wondering, I fixed this problem by putting a MAF weld on adapter into the charge pipe. Keeps the stock ECU happy now. Car pulls like a **** with traction only in 6th gear lol

Quick Reply: VDC, Slip, p0201 All on?!?!
