brake booster and boost
Im having a problem with my brakes but i am posting here because it seems related to my boost, i think. after going full throttle and then getting on the brakes quickly the pedal is rock hard and i cannot stop unless i give it a sec or two. this only seems to happen after being in boost. does the positive pressure from boost affect the brake booster in a negative way or is there something else wrong
I know per the Greddy instructions there is something that is suppose to be installed on the brake booster. Its was not installed when my kit was, but I have not had any noticeable problems with my brakes.

This is what I was talking about.

try the links to brake booster check valves listed here >> https://my350z.com/forum/6676717-post34.html
i didnt get one when i got my car either, and i've noticed a little bit of a loss in barking but not significant. I think im going to put on on my car because the simple fact is that i am noticing it.
the stock brake booster hose that comes off the passenger side of the plenum and goes to the barb sticking out from the battery compartment already has a check valve on the inside of it. you cannot see it, because it is inserted into the middle of the hose... but take off the hose, and try blowing thru it both ways... and you will see what i mean.
so, if you have taken off the stock brake booster hose there, then you need to add another check valve somewhere, like the greddy kit does.
i assume greddy didnt realize there was already a check valve inside that hose when they provided one... other FI kits do not supply another like that.
