Don't tell her ANYTHING and remember to stay off the throttle when she's riding in the car. If my G/F knew how much I spend on my car she'd be a EX G/F.

Haha what do you think she'd do if she found one of your track time receipts?

Some of you guys remind me of my friend. My friend did a Type R motor swap on his Civic and added a Greddy Turbo, upgraded to a much bigger FMIC and a bunch of other stuff. The funny thing is that his wife ride with him pretty much every weekend and didnt notice anything. My wife and his wife are best friend and finally my wife ratted him out coz she couldn't take it anymore. My wife was like, dont see that big a$$ intercooler and cant you hear the BOV every time he shift or dont you wonder what are those gauges for?..lol Some women are just clueless.

If your S.O. gives you crap you need to re-evaluate your relationship.

My wife loves SUVs, so I got 'er a Pathfinder. BTW, my Z is bone stock, anyway, but she doesn't care what I spend on; that's why we've lasted 34 years together!

Well, our Z is my wife's car so the F/I was for her and she loves it. She didn't complain when we bought the GT-R for me to have a fun toy. We've combined our money since we were married and we hide no purchases from each other.

It's called a deployment lol. My wife knows that after spending 12 months in the sandbox I can do whatever I want with that money lol. I do spend on her too of course though. She wants me to turbo my G37 now since she misses my 350zTT.

my wife could care less, all though i havent been able to get to the FI on the Gsedan, its coming. Only thing thats going to take it a little longer is that huge growth in her belly thats set to come out in early july. so basically the several thousand already saved up is probably going to go towards that. Oh well first kid FTW over the car any day of the week.

If ur wife or gf gives you **** about your hobby and whatever makes you happy, it's time for a new one (and I don't mean hobby). Serious guys...I could pick people out of this thread who are destined for FAIL and misery...
