Haha, yes, you and your 500+ whp godzilla! I'm still slinging these MX-5 cup cars around! Can't wait for the challenge of a little, wait a lot, more power out of the corners.

Yes it's quite a rush.....moreso when you grab for brakes at 160-170mph into 10A.

Those big Stop Tech's are going to work like magic. Speaking of which, we should get you a set of PFC01's for your track events. They are fairly easy to swap out. The pad is a little too noisy and dusty to use on the street, unless you are OK with that. Surprisingly, the PFC01 is pretty rotor friend too. It's the pad I used on last year's 350Z TT time attack car.

So, I was planning seriously to come to ZDAYZ and this event this year but I'd have to do it in the new ride to not be shown up. My only Z now is an NA completely stock time attack car.

Any other TT'd monster cars gonna be allowed to run the Big Dawg strip or just G/Z/GTR? I've been on here for a few years and have been wanting to toss up with some of you guys on the straight? CMON

SO Sharif's latest twitter said that XKR's turbo's took a dump even before they hit the airstrip. I sure hope the motor is ok. Sylvan Lake might get that chance to go GTM turbos afterall.

hope everything is ok!

Damn that Suks! I'm sure Sharif gave him plenty of seat time in the GTR!

The airstrip event was great last year.... many great people, several unexpected problems and alot of running down an airstrip that seems to be in the middle of no where... definitely the highlight of the weekend.

I wish I could be down there this year as I'm sure it will be bigger and better. By tomorrow lets see some vids get posted of the runs and maybe some ariel shots if the owner/pilot ever returns to take you up in the lawnmower with wings.

It was very wet out, but still a good time had by all. Quit a few runs in the GTR, but No top Dog this Year. The trophy stays with Sharif and the GTR with the (Jet Fuel.)

I understand that over 400 pics were taken. The rain really did put a stop to the big boys (Injected vs. Joe the Mad Scientist). Sharif and I got the most runs out there and that GTR is fast and loud. I understand XKR's turbo is under warranty so should be no issue getting it turned around asap.

Despite the rain, it was a blast for the runs we got in. Sharif was very generous and let us take the GTR out time after time, in the rain, with no traction issues whatsoever!

More updates to follow... Connectivity is tough up in the mountains.

that thought already went through my mind when XKR let me know about the turbo.....it should be under warranty so it will be all good.....other than car being down longer. I really wanted to see some vids of XKRs monster on the strip next year it will be a real monster.

Pics videos??? post em up please.

Thats why Mike is such a great guy, I'm sure he called you straight away to let you know the issues, rather than have you read it here and wonder what was going on.

The turbo failure probably saved your new motor one last beating. Can't wait to see your new numbers with this proven monster under the hood.
