Default Good Day on the Dyno-442 HP/375 TQ

Dynapack results .....442 horsepower and 375 lb/ft torque to the rear wheels...Very, very happy with my Vortech SC install and tuning session.....Thanks to Scott at Ballastic Motorsports and Gilles at Holyroller Dyno for their efforts. I would recommend both Scott and Gilles......They are pros.

Here's the set-up.....2006 Rev-up with the following mods....

Vortech V3
DW 440cc injectors
Greddy e-Manage Ultimate
Walbro 255
Motordyne MRev2 lower plenum & 5/16" spacer
DC Sport headers
Berk HFC's
Nismo CBE
Custom CAI

Car pulls hard and smooth, and going FI is worth every cent.

PS....Gilles at Holyroller isn't your typical tuner. He's a software development engineer for a multi-billion dollar, multi-national software company and has connections at a Formula 1 race car manufacturer. Gilles is British and university educated. They call him "The Genius"....All I know is that he had my car sounding like a high strung race car putting it through its paces on the dyno.

9 psi, you're making closer to 400 than 450 on a dynojet, either that or your car is a freak of nature significantly more power than other vortech's with a few more pounds of boost. still great numbers, i would love to see a trap speed to verify the power. enjoy the boost!

the highest rwhp i could get out of my vortech v2 revup tuner kit with stillen headers,RFS, 550 rc injectors, 255 lph walboro pump, utech, aps 2.5 dual exhaust, 2.5 aps test pipes, m-rev2 plenum, 5/16 spacer ,(3.12 PULLEY 9psi indicated) and tune from GTM was 390 rwhp 310 rwtq on a dyno jet. i had to convert over to a non revup cog setup and 2.87serp pulley to hit the 430 mark i am at now! makes you wonder

I was always under the impression that boost on the Vortech doesn't always necessarily correlate to a certain HP range. I.E. the headers, high flow cats, and exhaust can potentially drop the boost on a centrifugal SC but raise horsepower

I just noticed the dyno was a dynapack. If it reads like your 'typical' dynapack, I would assume it would fall around 405-420 on a 'typical' dynojet.

Too bad we don't have a previous baseline of his car to determine how much gains there really were. IMO, that's more important than a number itself.

Both of you are clearly missing the point of a dyno.

Congrats on the new found pw but those dyno numbers just don't add up. 442whp is a lot especially when u haven't even upgraded the pulley and are only running 440cc. I don't know about anyone else but I maxed out 440cc at 400whp so either u are running around town with 110% duty cycles or the dyno pak is inflated greatly. Wish u had a NA run before installing the blower.

the injector size and the power #'s are the biggest indication that dynapak doesnt align itself with dynojet #'s.
