so... back to my build... im doing a custom exhaust. the guys at the exhaust place say to do 3" downpipe and 2.5" catback? is ok?

3" downpipe is great,, but i highly recomend 2.75" or 3" for the cat back

i am pretty sure my injen is 2.5.. and i have 3 inch downs..

why would you go from a 3inch down pipe to a smaller catback?

i would go with something 2.75" all the way back.. at least 2.75"

you just dropped 10K in your car.... make it sound like you droppped 10K in your car!!!!! hah j/p make it sound like you want ( if the tuner says it will be alright let him put it on. but if he can't get the power you want and it becomes a bottle neck, which it will be for a turbo setup, then make him pay for it!!! )

update:

CHANGE OF PLANS

engine is done, im just putting the final touches on it... having a hard time getting to some exhaust manifold bolts.. i tried both a wrench and socket!!! nothing can get in there any suggestions? I will be installing this tomorrow and tunning next week.




it looks like i can just stick a socket it there and thats it... well socket is too fat!!!

the bottom one isnt as bad.. i can do it with an open end wrench.. but the top one forget it...

if you don't have Air Tools.. get liquid wrench and a breaker bar

You need flare flange nuts. http://www.boltdepot.com/product.asp...5&cs=148&cm=22

ARPs are flare flange as well.

ARPs are flare flange as well.
well the other bolts have a flare but they wont go in the manifold groove
