Also b4 i put the engine back in the car im gonna heat wrap as much as i can!!!
any suggestions on parts to heat wrap...
so far:
all coolant metal lines
coolant lines for both turbos
i wanted to heat wrap both exhaust manifolds, but my friend said not to since his cracked.

exactly what i've been saying all along.. people are too quick to jump up and defend their products and they can't listen to what is being said..
I loved my UTEC because it was much safer than the E-Manage, but it had its flaws .. not enough to make a big stink over.. but it did its job.. but once i went over 550 whp i went with the F-Con .. let me tell you its so much smoother than the UTEC.. let sharif have you drive an F-Con car.. you will be sold.. so smooth.. but again.. the UTEC is good for what you need

What's the price difference for the other units? On my last turbo project I went with a Haltech and regretted dropping the extra $$ versus the cheaper unit -- I got little benefit and harder tuning. Just trying to get my list nailed down of what I'm buying for my TT project.

UTEC used - $400 - $600
FCon brand new w/ sensors and tune - $3000
FCon used w/ sensors - $1500 - $2300
well motor went in today. got everthing plugged in, i have to heli coil the intake collector tomorrow morning and car should start

well i was about to start the car... i added coolant and it started dripping from behind the left side head.... i guess the gasket was garbage... i doubled up and its fine now, but took me the rest of the day and now i will have to wait till tomorrow... this is def not easy
car starts.. but wont stay on. throttle is not responding.. makes effort to stay on but it wont. oil pressure is good, no leaks, sounds healthy. but just wont stay on..
any suggestions?
