Question Help me find my EMS on my car :)

So i was examining my car today to try and find out what it has on it since i bought it modded. Anyways i cant find my ems, im assuming its greddy emanage. Im going to go osiris asap and i wanted to see if maybe the previous owner installed a piggyback or not. So i looked under driver and passenger dash areas and i couldnt find anything that looked out of place, not even a blue greddy emanage unit. Where do you guys usually store these when installing them?

Get a flash light and look under the passenger side dash and see if there is a dark gray box next to your ecu. If so that would be a Utec.

Does you car have starting issues at times? Is the transition into boost not very smooth? If so you probably have a Utec.

I think my post came off the wrong way, MOST Utecs have these issues and they are very common, and if he is having these issues he probably has a utec, in which case we can point him in the right direction on where to look.

Hope I didn't offend any of the Utec guys

Man so there is no ems? how do i figure out if i have one or not....... Which box is the ecu? Ok so what are the chance i already have an upgraded maf sensor? how the heck do i tell?

Lol what if i already have an osiris flash, man i wanted to save moeny by getting an already modded car but it sucks not knowing whats been done to it exactly. Watch i have a built motor and dont even know "wishful thinking"

EDIT: i just found a homemade boost controller in the engine bay.....

Either its a reflash or you can try seeing if you have any additional wiring going from the fuse box on the driver side to the passenger side.

I would also look to see if you have any wiring going into the ECU grommet by the windshield and just trace back

I see a yellow wire by the clutch assembly that is wire tires.
I also see a blue power wire by the passenger kick panel that I would think its for aftermarket amplifiers.

Your ECU is in the second pic in your album right next to that white thing which is your in cabin filter housing

It would also help if you rotate those pics right side up.
I think I got neck cramps.

Can you link me to a pic of where that grommet is?

why not just ask the owner before?

was the owner on these forums? if so we might know more about the car than you do..

why do i get the feeling this is marluchi's car being passed around on its 6th owner? well i think that one had a APSTT Kit.. maybe not

Look in the passenger side lower kick pannel thats a common spot to tuck them. I would try to get in contact with the last owner and get a complete list of mods or you might have headaches like this for years to come.
