ask owner, but a homemade mbc on a car of this magnitude is chintzy lol. hows the car run in general? idle? under boost? etc. etc.

 

I cant ask the previous owner because i bought it from a dealership . Carfax says im the third owner, and i asked the dealership about contacting him and they said no go for obvious reasons.

I thought it was strange to see a homemade mbc on the car as well since everything else cost a lot of money, bbk kit, turbo kit, crazy audio/nav set up, rims. It boggles my mind lol.

Anyone have a part number on the upgraded maf sensor i want to check and see if i already have one, i still want to get an osiris tune so i know for my self if its a good one.

Car runs good under boost, rpms dip too low when push in the clutch sometimes, and the engine doesnt sound right externally because of an exhaust leak i need to take care of this week. im hoping its not a crack manifold.

owner probably took the UTEC out and sold it before he/she sold the car

 

the new MAF would say HPX on it somewhere as that is the brand.

what do you mean by homemade boost controller. Most manula boost controllers look homemade.... pics??
and like people said, if you post pics of your stock ecu, we can tell if anything is wired to it. Sounds like you have a reflash and even then, hard to believe the car is running right.

 

Maybe you cant find one because there is none.
