bolt size for jackshaft pulley on vortech
I purchased a used kit that "comes with every last bolt" and it was missing tons of parts.
I'm missing the bolt on the jackshaft pulley (the 3.33 pulley bolt) and it appears to be an odd size that i do not have in the shop.
I looked through the install manual for bolt sizes on the mounting plate and i think it would be the 3/8-24 1 1/2" bolt it lists but i'm not sure.
Does anyone know the size of bolt for that pulley?
Also, does it have a special spacer or anything else that goes in that pulley? I made a key out of keystock but there is a pretty big gap between the end of the shaft and the end of the pulley where the bolt goes in. Nothing else like a spacer goes in there does it?
I searched and could'nt find this anywhere. thanks for the help!

The reason i'm thinking 3/8-24 1 1/2" is due to the fact that they only list 1 of those and i know i'll need about a 1.5" long bolt. I also don't see any special spacers listed, but it doesn't list the spacers that it included for the pulleys (step spacers or whatever they call them in the manual).
hmm....very poor install manual. My uncle's shop is an hour away from any city that has a parts store. It's way out in the country so I'm trying to get the size before I head back over to the shop so I can save the 1 hour trip each way.

I don't think that bolt size will be on manual since pulley is already attach to bracket, I'm not sure tho. Call up vortech for find out perfect size bolt and when you go to the store, make sure you bring a pulley and bracket with you.

I love living in the country but crap it sucks for doing installs like this.
Can anyone pull their pulley bolt out and use a thread gauge on it? I couldn't read my thread gauge when i tried to put it inside the shaft.

You gotta get use to take off bracket if you willing to replace stuff yourself in future. You can also hook up the belt like oem setup and drive to the store(that's what I did, you can just drive like normal if you still have a stock ecu.)
I can take a picture for you when I take mine out, but will be end of next week.
