Default HELP, broke off the vortech oil feed nozzle. anyone have one??

Ok, so installing the vortech today, i was tightening the feed nozzle and it snapped off in my hands. It's the brass one and the nozzle broke off at the start of the threads where it becomes a long tube. I was using a small wrench and barely had it tight. It snapped as soon as it had resistance.

My car is on the lift and in pieces. I need to get it out of the shop and into my garage. Anyone have one of these i can buy and pay for overnight shipping or something? The new stainless ones are ridiculously expensive. 60$ for a stupid nozzle.

thanks for anyone that can help!

ya, i called and ordered one. 59$ for that thing. It's stainless now for more durability.

Just sucks my car has to sit on the lift for another week. I would have had it finished and out of the shop yesterday. I just hope i get the oil feed nozzle before my dyno appointment next week.

Just order from vortech or superchargersonline.com

I know FI isn't cheap.

so how did you block off your oil feed when it broke? i took all my sending unit apart and everything to block off that feed line so i could run the car.

I did the same thing. Called up Vortech, they wanted $57 for the same brass one, or $59 for stainless. I went with stainless.

How much are these types of feed nozzles for turbos? I think 59$ for this little piece of metal is a little extreme. I was thinking like 15-20$ when it broke and i had to order it but got a rude awakening.
