Hi there.
It was myself that created the Plug and Play system for the 350Z in conjuction with Racelogic R&D.
It does indeed Plug and Play with most applications.

hi,
was playing around with the launch control rev limiter thing on ma racelogic... it has two settings which can be set manually, took me about two minutes to read up on how to do it in the manual...
there is a wet setting and a dry setting, these are used depending on the amount of slip dialed in... to activate the launch control rev lim thing u simply push the button down for a second or two... WOT sticks it to your desired setting and boost builds up nicely... it does sound mad though... a bit of a show ...
found that just dropping the clutch aint such a good idea, doing a gradual release gave me the most thrust...
still happy, the guys also have software available for download should u wish to adjust the amount of cut so it can be custom programmed for further enhancement... my factory settings r ok and even with my 325 semi's on the back I still feel it working a bit in third gear... the difference now is that before the unit, my 3rd gear was faster than first and second... it feels much better...
there is of coarse some driving skill involved, like when to change gears and clutch release but much easier and safer than before...

On the street, it would help the guys (like me) who arent willing to run a DR/race tire all the time.
On the track, slicks > TC anyday
With that being said, Id like something like this more for the repeatability on street tires. IMO 550ish whp + TC + STREET tires could be 10's easy, and that would be bad a$$ IMO.

^^^^^ Very true.... Sharif is in contact with the company.... If it can work with my setup, I will have it in my ZDayZ so you guys can see if it's a good buy or not.

I have been in contact with RaceLogic, and today they confirmed what Mike said. Their traction control unit will not work with low impedance injectors. It is designed to work with saturated injectors. That means that I am out of luck. For those of you with with high HP builds using saturated injectors, it still looks like a very good option.

what happens if you have the unit installed and you have low impedance injectors... will it just not work or break the engine over time?
guess its a bit late to ask as I'm using it now...

They use a spike of current, but then drop significantly (peak, then hold) so overall usage is less (at least that is my understanding). The low impedence drivers raise the ground voltage to reduce current after the first millisecond or so. So at idle they may use more current, but at higher IPW they probably use less, I guess?

a bit weary of what I'm reading here...
