That is right, time to settle up. Time to pay for the turbo kit he has been using without issue for 6 months to a year. For the injectors being such a deal breaker that he has to do a chargeback, it sure is funny that his car runs just fine and he's online bragging about racing.

Yeah, I'd be copying those threads for any future court references.

In the G35 thread he said he did it through his credit card company, not through Paypal (Paypal has 60 day limit IIRC). Why his bank believed this garbage that long after he had purchased and received it is beyond me.

Wait! Get my money back to me! There is a scratch on the coupler!

As far as I know, nothing...

Sweettalker signed up over here so hopefully he'll provide updates as they become available. I'm assuming this kid still has this money and turbo kit.

STill don't have money. He still has the kit. I'm trying to find a lawyer that will take the case but I don't know who to trust or where to start looking. Anyone know anyone?

He claims he is sending me the amount minus $1025 due to his trouble and to fix the non existant problem. I haven't gotten that check either. Anyone know where I can start?

You shouldn't need a lawyer just file in small claims in his home town. IMO paying a lawyer will make the whole thing not worth it and the judge might not be happy with it either.

I think small claims its good for up to $5000 and there's no jury. Chances are you'll get most if not all of your money back and hopefully the court/travel fees too.

Did you receive the chargeback paperwork from this guys credit card company? If you did, make sure you complete, with your story, and return to the cc company. Include copies of all correspondence you had with this a__hole. Stress that this was an "as is" sale of used equiptment. Failure to complete this paperwork will ensure your loss. Good Luck!

Call the his local police department or where the kit was sent too. Then ask to speak with a court affiliated attorney (DA) whoever is available when u call and ask how to proceed without any delay. U can subpoena him and chargehim with Larceny. You'd be suprised how far you will get! Good Luck man!

Heck yeah. This thing should have been over a long time ago. Court will probably be the best way at this point since its such an open and shut case

Exactly. At this point, wish the seller luck in getting his turbo kit or money back, if the buyer ever demonstrate any intention in returning either one after a long year and a half. Hiring a lawyer is always a last resort.
