Details on your custom pulley? May consider moving to that in the future...

GTM sells the machined 2.60.

Or just buy a 90$ 2.60 from Vortech and take it to your local machine shop with a lathe and match it up to your current pulley for like $10.

They are just too thick from vortech.

I thought I was the only one that had the 2.60 bc I know vortech has a 2.62

It's a 2.62...although I don't know if there's much of a difference between a 2.62 and 2.60 pulley...I'm more worried about slippage; I get that at about 12.5~13 psi on my revup kit...

http://www.gtmotorsports.com/product...roductid=16472

If your custom pulley is cheaper that GTMs I may go your route of getting that pulley...

Also, since you're a Cali guy, do you have your fuel regulator out in the open in the engine on your RFS setup, or are you "stealthing" it...

I ask since I try and keep my setup looking as stock as possible just in case I get pulled over...Cali sucks like that...

you can get 2.6 pulleys from 928m for ~70 each (although I am not sure if we have a 17 or 200 shaft)
http://www.928motorsports.com/parts/powerpulley.php
or
http://www.928motorsports.com/parts/6ribpulley.php
get yourself a 2.25

still need to get it lathed but they are CHEAP

Wow, those 928 pulleys are cheap.

I think I paid around 180 but mine does have groves (instead of straight edges) that prevent slippage. As u can see from my dyno sheet, 18psi at WOT and no drop in boost.

ahh so you got one of the Reicherd Racing ultra grips then huh?

ya those are pricier and chew up belts, so keep an eye on that. you bust your serp belt, you are f'd

although spinning the blower at 64,000 might get ya 1st

Curious, see str8dum1 mentioned you needed larger injector to break 500whp...you're still on the 800cc and what's your IDC at?

What's the max you can spin that T trim at safely?....if 64000, sounds to high.

5.75" crank
either 32/28 or 34/30 and a 2.60 at 7000 rpms is 64000 rpms

800cc should be 85ish or more IDC at that HP

That's one beautiful pulley. Any reason you choose to go with 2.60?

for some reason I thought the non revs were 32/30.

Anyway, I doubt it's really going to affect it much bc the rpms fly sooo fast for it to do any real damage (only 400rpm difference from 6600 to 7000). Also if u think about it, everyone seems to be running the 2.87 pulley with a 32/28 so they are also overspinning their blower at 6600rpm... not as much as mine but still over 53000rpms.

Hay Mr_PharmD,
I know you have a T-Trim, But what have you done to the Motor?
Can you list out the Details?
Do you have a Larger InterCooler?
Did you do any other modifications to your Vortech Kit other than a T-Trim and a 2.60 Pulley and Injectors?

Note: I have an SC-trim Non Revup 32/28, 2.87 rev to 7100=58,687rpm @ Blower
Thanks
Tim

It really doesnt matter. 4000 impeller rpms isnt much but when you are already 5000 rpms past the recommended limits...

But if it fails oh well, if not great. rebuilds are cheap. The blower is still making power.

Next step would be get that bigger 6.7" ATI crank pulley. Alot more belt wrap. Hopefully you can do that soon.

Lol, u're making me worry now but the only way to see how much this T trim can really handle is to push it to the limits
