Default wiseco piston

this may sound stupid but i looking for pistonsfor a greddy turbo kit. I was to run around 12 psi. I just want to know about the pistons now. i see that only weisco piston have 8.8:1 or 11.1. (i am looking at weisco) WHat piston would you prefer. Or what pistons are you using. Finally i was just wondering what would be better? the lower compression or he higer one. and what does the 8:8:1 mean the numbers. thanks

The 8.8:1 compression is for FI applications and the 11:1 compression is for an NA build. Wiseco makes good pistons. The Wiseco 8.8:1 pistons would be a good choice for your build.

SEARCH It will help you out a allot. THe numbers are the compression and you want the 8:8:1 for turbo applications.

GTM is building a 4.0L stroker motor for me. Even though they had another popular brand of pistons in stock that would have enabled me to get my motor last month, I specifically asked Sam to wait for the Wisecos...

FYI, I have a set of Eagle Rods, 0.020" overboar Wiseco's 8.8:1 pistons, and some other parts for sale at good prices:
