This is a local TA, that is a hell of alot of fun and is not as popular say as the red-line, but Outbrake hosts a series of events that provides a safe environment to get alot of seat time in a technical track. There is also some drift events but I am not a drifter. ITs not a large course, infact its a converted cart and speeds dont reach nearly what they would at Mid Ohio, or Putnam.
I am eagerly awaiting opening, I know quite a few members and will have plenty of track time in an enviroment like this...

I know the OP already answered this, but lower compression isn't always "necessary" for a turbo car. Apples to Oranges I agree, but the BMW 335i comes with 10.5:1 compression from the factory. I think it's more important to install strong components and have a f'in fantastic tune...

The G37 with its high compression reaches 500+.....but thats it....I have not seen one in the 600 range.
There is a guy in Houston with a 335i with a little over 500whp.....but he built his motor with lower compression and larger turbo's. I met him at SGP....he wanted to race.....but the nicest thing SGP ever did for him was to tell him his ego was going to get hurt...He was there to pick up his white Z.
Maybe the OP is not looking for big power...I just thought because of the fuel system he was
