Unhappy Question about 06 hi-rev motor?

Hi I had a blown engine in my 03 Z and replaced it with a vq out of an 06 later to find out it was a hi-rev motor. Do they make superchargers for it?

Since you are in Cali and looking at superchargers you should go with the Vortech, its CARB certified.

I was pushing a 50 shot of nitrous and I snaped a piston rod. And my engine had 120 thousand miles on it.

WOW, blown motor on a 50 shot! you must have been doing something wrong. I was running a 100 shot on a stock block for a year and a half with out a tune. The motor also had 65-70K miles!

What happened was I was driving lost oil pressure Didnt realize it so I don't know how long I was driving like that for? Driving down the 405 doing about 80 it was late at night so I squezed brought it up to 135 and heard a loud claping sound. Not really sure what went on that caused me to loose my oil pressure?

Stillen is that bad? I guess I like the stillen because it seems like a clean simple set up no messy tubes running everywhere like turbos.

I dunno, I like NOS. It's so easy to deal with. I've had turbo cars, SC and NOS.... Hands down NOS was the easiest to maintain and cheaper.

Its not that its a bad setup its just that for all the money you spend you do not make anywere near the power of a turbo or a vortech.I ran it for 3 years and installed it when the car was 6 months old cause there wasnt anything else not blowing engines up.

Honestly bro for me NOS was just common sense. I called Holly (the place where I got my pills from) and asked them what pills I should run to make a 100 shot on my particular set up. The tech will give you two pill sizes (1 will be for Fuel and the other for NOS ** Wet setup only, which should be the only way you should run NOS***) What ever pill size they told me I would go 1 size bigger just to ensure I didn't create any lean conditions.
The real reason why people break motors on NOS is because there is a massive just in torque. Don’t spray before 3K RPM's and you should be able to run a 100 shot on your car for years. To solve that problem you should have a RPM activated window switch, a bottle warmer would help to make sure your PSI is where it should be... Other then that (hypothetically speaking) you shouldn't have any problems. Plus you can wait for chicks to walk by your car with skirts on and purge the NOS and lift them dresses like the wind....
Just playing, but if you have any questions about NOS I honestly feel I have a shat load of knowledge just sitting around in this enormous dome of mine!
