1st of all Cool_z33 don't talk about anything you don't know, SmallTuner built engines for 5 of my friends, all ran OK, 1 with Stillen stage 4 S/C that put 340rwhp and it's been running fine for years, the 2nd one is with Greddy TT that put 470rwhp with amazing A/F ratio, it's been running for 2 years now with no issues, the 3rd one equiped with high comprision pistons/cams putting some high rwhp (not on a dyno yet) and it's known to be the most powerful n/a 350z in Kuwait and i dare anyone would say the opposite, the other 2 350z left are tuned by him and their owners had no problems with it but in the end sold them and bought some US muscle cars.
That's just to informs you when you said you didn't see any engine he built on the street, these guys aren't kids like you to go around and race like you and brag about their cars.
His car was running on the street for a long time, but he's not racing with it, he's enjoying the car and it's power, he learned to master the 350z from scratchs and now he's a great tuner.
As for the 3 turbo kits he got, here's the story, he's a hard headed guy and i've told him to stop upgrading all the times, but he's aiming for 700rwhp engine, his 1st Greddy TT he got didn't give him the power he need, he maxed them out at 470+rwhp, then a guy from KSA swaped his custom TT kit with him and told him that it's made to support 900rwhp, but it was a lie, he squeezed them to 540+rwhp, and in the end one of the turbo shafts broken, so he took out his engine and removed the turbos and ordered a short block from USA with darton sleeves and GTM TT kit, he pushed the car to 570+rwhp but he had issues with his car, and now it ended that way when he check the clearance it's a zoo broken lose, it was the one who built the engine mistake, and Darton Sleeves need to be done by pro people and only few shops in the US can do it right.
Now he'll be doing his own clearance and well stop at the rwhp he go, he spent a lot of money on his car, and i went with him to the bank to take a loan to get the money he need to finish his car, so STF and don't say mal el 7aram ma ydoum.
SmallTuner everyone in Kuwait and everyone is jealous, because he's the only one in kuwait that truely understand the 350z, from engine builts up until tuning them, and everyone knows that and you can't deny them, if you know anyone else please enlighten us, don't tell me alb7reeny since he was kicked out of a lot of shops in Bahrain and he came here and made a shop, and since he's a loser that knows nothing and all the losers in kuwait ended up going to him, as they say "birds of feather, flocks together".
If you are a Honda owner and now got a 350z, then i'd say go get that fart can and sell your 350z, you are a disgrace to the 350z community, I think you are just a jealous person with a 350z that don't know how to buy stuff for it or have a problems finding tuner for it, or wait maybe you can go and buy a stand alone Haltech and get it tuned for 650KD for your N/A loser 350z.
Get out of this forum, you know nothing about 350z, and btw go learn how to speak/write in english .

Oh one last thing, he got the dyno sheets for his runs, and his A/F is straight line without up and downs, his HP+TQ lines are running smooth together in a curve, which everyone knows it's a sign of great tuning done.
I hope to see you here again, wow 2 posts, you really did sign in here to say those 2 words out of jealousy, i wonder whats your true nick name??
Must be Cool_Honda on the honda forums .

Seems like another case of an engine builder taking on something more than they can handle. As mentioned, the success or failure of sleeves is completely labor related. The block can take it, the sleeves are of fantastic quality from Darton - the in between is the person responsible for installing them. Unfortunately, that is a big problem in this community especially.
What bearings were used? Who built the motor? How long did it last?
What can snap the cam? As mentioned - a cam that wasn't made correctly (very unlikely if it's from a reputable source), improper torquing sequence on the caps as westpak said, drastic change in oil pressure (in which case, I'd replace ALL the cams, not just the one that broke, or at the very least, have them magnafluxed to check for stress cracks)
