Default Want To Build my Block any advice?

Just recently Istalled The powerlabs GT35R in my 06 Z. Love the turbo and love the power. But ofcourse Boost is addicting and I want more. Im only at 7psi on my car now. (400WHP) Anyway should I save the money and get a Shortblock? Includes Hot Tank/Clean Block, Eagle Rods, Wiesco Pistons, ACL Bearings, ARP Heads and Main Studs. $3300.00 And ofcourse about 2k to install. Or something more basic? Looking for about 560-600 whp I know the turbo can handle it now have to make sure my block can.

For the power you listed a shortblock would be fine. With the current turbo kits available sleeving really isnt neccessary unless ur gonna build over 750whp.

Op but where are you buying your block from? I have a supercharger(vortech) and I'm looking to upgrade to a 2.87 pulley safely. Thanks

that seems like a good build if your really straped just use hr head and main studs and nissan bearing and hr headgasket. not saying acl bearing arnt good but cass had some issues with them(could have been a result of another failure but he is using oem ones on his 4th build) this is the basic budget build and im sure im gonna get differing opinions but people have had success with out blowing alot of money. 500 would easily be attainable imho with this setup

Thanks dude. I diff want to hit the 550+whp 600 would be butter. Im just a little straped for cash now only had the turbo for about 2months. and that was 10k after install gauges etc. etc. I dont want to short cut it. Im just impatient.

550-600 would be on race gas with that turbo as well. Good luck!
