Default Best Forced Induction for Daily Driver?

I'm thinking about getting Forced Induction on my 2007 Nismo, which is better for a daily driver? And what specific turbo or supercharger is reliable enough for a daily driver?

stock is the most reliable for a DD.

best advice, do not go FI if that car is your only source of transport.

not the answer your wanted, i'm sure. but its the truth. turbos go bad, SC'ers break belts. and they can both lead to a whole host of other problems can be annoying at best and down time for weeks/months at worst. I would say that 90% of the FI guys on here spent enough time without their cars, they woulda been fired from work had that been their only means of transport.

But, if you have a another car, neither is more reliable. It all boils down to the experience/quality of the install and tune. But even then that doesnt guarantee no problems.

If you really need to ask, get a Vortech supercharger and runs really low boost like 7 lbs and you should be fine.

25,000 miles and never broke a supercharger belt. If you tighten it correctly, this is a 1 in 10,000 issue.

People are giving him smart *** advises without even reading his whole post!!! he has a 07 nismo<<<< VQ35HR so there is no Vortech kit he can get or any supercharger kit for that matter.

Read and contact GTM they have done it way more then any shop here and they have a TT kit for the 07 350z

There were posts on this sometime back, maybe about a year ago. A little research should dig up the relevant information for anyone interested. There is other information pertaining to this subject elsewhere on the Internet as well.

DD'd my 350zTT on stock block for 20k+ miles and it is still going strong for the new owner, minus needing new tranny. Use the right parts and most importantly the right tuner and you can have a fairly reliable fun car to drive every day.
