Default Navi / Fi / Fcon

Ok so I was just curious on how the factory navi determines the fuel / miles until empty.... Mine has been very crazy like 800 miles until empty ever since doing my turbo setup. I was thinking it was a caluclation based on injector pulse and fuel level sensor? That was just my guess. Does anyone know for sure. I skimmed over the service manual but I did not see anything that tipped me off.

It is not a big deal if this feature never works again, I was just curious more than anything.

It is basing it's calculations on what the stock computer would be fueling. The problem is, the stock computer is no longer controlling the fuel injectors - FCON is.

Thanks for the response Hal, I figured it was something of that nature... I guess it comes with the territory.
