Default what do you think I need for making high hp?

I got this setup and currently braking 598.8hp. The heads are all oem. This winter I'm going to rebuild heads and do what's needed to make much power

I know I need twin walbro setup, Cosworth plenum, bigger injectors, probably +1mm exhaust valves, new camshafts, valve springs and rebuilding/moving valve seats and porting. Guess I need a better clutch and stage2 drive shafts too.

What's the most power can w/ the Greddy twins hold?

What else? What brands do you suggest?

Hoping for help from you VQ35DE gurus

Don't waste your money upgrading the heads for minimal flow gains. The stock VQ35 heads flow FANTASTIC (better than many upgraded 2JZ heads). Add an intake manifold and cams and you should see very good gains. Past that I'd upgrade the turbos well before I'd ever touch the heads.

As far as axels go, you may as well go straight to stage 5 if you are upgrading.

I like headwork, but BriGuy has a valid point, get cams first for sure. My head specialist doesn't think the +1mm valves are worth the $$$$, just have the valve bowls blended to increase flow.

The dual pumps will most likely be needed and you should seriously consider a meth setup as well.

Good Luck

thanx!
my friend is fantastic porting specialist and we'll see what he think can be done.
what upgrades for turbos is the best bang for the buck?
yeah, meth setup or water injection, need to learn more about that.

keep coming w/ inputs

I'm shooting for as high as possible, on pump gas. But I want a smooth dyno / good response for track.

There are a lot of cam choices. The right cam selection will depend on the maximum rpm you will be running at and your power goals.

JWT cams tend to offer the most lift for a given duration, and thus better flow, but you should not push them past about 7500 rpm or so. I won't be pushing my rpms past 7500, so I will be using the JWT C8 cams on my new build.

GTM and BC cams do not offer as much lift, so those will not flow as much for a given duration, but they can be used to higher rpm. I'm guessing to about 8200 rpm (maybe even as high as 8500 rpm?), but this is mere speculation on my part.

If anyone is pushing these cams to higher rpms without valve float, please chime in.

Thanx, I love your words like a thirsty in the dessert
I'm really weak for screaming engines So besides high numbers i love as much rpm as is safe w/o scarifying the response.
I've also heard that some injectors (like RC) gives a rather bad fuel injecion, so what's the best chose here? Is low ohm ones like HKS to prefere?
Please give me more, tell me all you know

Alberto is the man you should consult about maxxing out your Greddy setup. I don't think anyone on here is making more power with a standard Greddy 18G kit than him.

He is using BC stage 3 cams on stock heads and meth injection on his setup. He is making above 700whp on his 18G turbos.

Thanx
So what I need is
stage 5 or pro level axels
cosworth intake
hks injectors?
cams, bc stage 3
Valve springs, some brand?
Twin pump holder, c j motorsports?
Meth injector kit, aquamist?

I still think I need to rebuild/swap valves/seats since my egt gets high, don't you guys got that problem?

Deatschwerks has some fantastic injectors that will work with your factory injector harness and are not too expensive.

I think I would buy whatever valvesprings and retainers are recommended by manufacturer of the cams you choose.

CJM fuel system stuff is the best...

There is a huge selection of meth kits out there. Alkycontrol seems to me to be the best bang for your buck for a progressive setup.

Low impedance (peak and hold) injectors are supposed to respond a little faster than high impedance (saturated) injectors.

Some people love RC injectors, some don't. I've never heard anything but positive comments about HKS or DW injectors.
